2026 CFMOTO V4 SR-RR – Price & PCP Deals

Because this rocket ship is still in its wrapper (and not even the finished fancy wrapper), official UK pricing (and the rest of the world for that matter) is yet to be confirmed. Industry chatter suggests it will likely land somewhere in the ballpark of £20,000 to £27,000, putting it right in the crosshairs of established European exotica. When (or if) it finally reaches CFMOTO’s UK dealers, expect availability that will probably be limited enough to make it feel exclusive. Will it have mirrors and indicators? Who knows…

CFMOTO V4 SR-RR Engine & Performance

Let’s talk about the party piece. Tucked inside the frame is an in-house developed 997cc V4 that sounds like a grid full of hornets having an argument. It features a reverse-rotating crankshaft to keep the front wheel on the tarmac and sings all the way up to a frantic 15,000 rpm redline. Claimed power is a punchy 157 kW (over 212 bhp), paired with a slick quickshifter. While torque curves remain a bit of a mystery, we do know for sure the CFMOTO V4 SR-RR Prototype has enough punch to achieve a verified top speed of 196.2 mph / 315.82 km/h!

This happened on June 15th, 2026, during the China Motorcycle Top Speed Record Challenge held at the CCCC Automotive Proving Ground in Shangrao (read our blog post here). This result makes the CFMOTO V4 SR-RR Prototype the fastest Chinese internal combustion motorcycle ever and marks another significant milestone in the ongoing development of CFMOTO’s future flagship supersport platform. Check out the momentous moment in this video.

Handling & Suspension (inc. Weight & Brakes)

Tipping the scales at a dry weight of just 180 kg, this bike promises to change direction quicker than a politician answering a tricky question. The chassis is a gorgeous aluminium twin-spar affair holding up fully adjustable Öhlins suspension front and rear. Braking is handled by Brembo GP4-MS radial anchors clamping 330mm (educated guess) discs, complete with clever little cooling ducts so you don’t cook your stoppers when you get a bit over-enthusiastic braking into the Melbourne Loop.

Take a look at the work CFMOTO is doing with Öhlins for the CFMOTO V4 SR-RR prototype in this video.

Comfort & Aerodynamics

Ultimate performance does not compromise! So, grab your yoga mat, because comfort is clearly secondary to going fast here. The riding position is aggressively hunched, turning you into a human prawn designed purely to slice through the air. Speaking of air, those clever active aero winglets chop down drag by 12 percent under power and pile on the downforce when things get properly lively.

Check out the work CFMOTO has done in the Pininfarina Wind Tunnel in this video.

Equipment

Even if the spec sheet is still playing hard to get on certain finer points, we know it packs a proper six-axis IMU brain. That means cornering ABS, traction control, sliding intervention, riding modes, and a gorgeous full-colour TFT dash and no doubt a supported app that will allow you to dial in a myriad of settings. Toss in a titanium Akrapovič exhaust system and switchgear that looks properly MotoGP, and you’ve got the ultimate track weapon.

2026 CFMOTO V4 SR-RR – Verdict

The CFMOTO V4 SR-RR is wonderfully eccentric, massively ambitious, and genuinely exciting. While we’re still waiting for the final jigsaw pieces on specs and pricing to drop into place, it’s already clear that CFMOTO isn’t messing about. Will it be a track only machine or the basis of a homologation special to go World Superbike racing? Our guess is that EICMA 2026 will reveal more.
